981 Spyder and Dash Cam; info overload
Thinking of adding a dash cam to my 981 Spyder, but there's so much info it's very confusing??
1) I don't want a second thing hanging from the windshield (suction cups, sticky plastic, etc.).
2) The integrated rear view mirror type look ok, but it seems to minimize the limited view that's already there.
3) Then I'm thinking how to run the wires (on a convertible) to the usb port without looking like spaghetti hanging from on my windshield.
4) Capacitor models look good. But it must be as unnoticeable as possible.
5) Want night vision, 1080 res, 60fps (but will take 30), and directly connected to the battery (and still shut off when the car's off), if possible.
6) At least 32GB storage, but DVR preferred or even cloud storage.
7) Want Wifi, GPS, wide field of view, auto on/off, plus high and low temp resistance, and hi.quality audio.
Can it be setup like a radar detector so it's not even noticeable.?
There's so much info. out there, but I still couldn't find a unit that met all these requirements (of mine) and ended up doing nothing.
Has anybody done any of this, or can make a recommendation?
