Default Installed HID kit from Philips
As you know, base model Boxsters (981) don't come with bi-xenon headlights unless you order them. So I installed an HID 5000k kit to replace the H7 halogen bulbs in mine. Very happy with the results and the headlights now match the LED running lights. Of course a huge improvement over the halogens at night.

Looks good! I did this a while back on my base 987... Only issue was that I lost function of the high beam...
