yes, I have plenty of room to add more cars. My office is 10 miles from home so definitely enough of time to properly exercise each car

Wow, that's an office! I can't wait to show these pics to my 13 year old son. Will reframe his career choices I bet.

My first thought is that I would be a workaholic if I had that office but I wouldn't get very much real work done! What a great setup and a great collection of cars.

Definitely keep that lambo, that has to be the last of the MT lambos and without question a future collector. I'm thinking an F430 manual would also be a good fit.

jvmax, congrats on a great pick-up (not to mention the killer office/garage combo )

If this is 1 of 4 PTS 987 Spyders, and if we know the color of Eduardo's Spyder and f4 plt has indicated he has/had an Aqua Blue 987 Spyder, do we know the color of the fourth and last PTS 987 Spyder? Just curious.

Enjoy this rare find!

The four PTS Spyders that made it into the US are as follows:
- Meteor Grey (this was an auto show car IIRC)
- Azure Blue
- Speed Yellow
- Riviera Blue

I almost bought the Azure car but I didn't love the options it had so I refrained. I still wish I did as it's more rare than the Basalt but that wasn't enough reason to make me switch. Perhaps it will come up for sale again and I can add it to my collection rather than choosing!

Thanks for the info! I think you did just fine with Basalt

Was the Azure car spec'd by a customer who then didn't follow through on the purchase, or did the dealer spec the PTS (if you know)?

Happy 4th!

If I remember correctly the Azure blue was a dealer order in either Maryland or Virginia. The PTS window for the 987.2 Spyder was exactly 5 business days so you had to be ready to order and know exactly what options you wanted. The Meteor Spyder was used at the auto shows in 2011 and was sold afterwards.

I hope you also have a great 4th Nick.

I have a brand new OEM short shifter still in the box that I ordered for my 987 Spyder. Never installed at as I sold the car beforehand. Let me know if you guys want it.

I actually just realized I have a refurbed real wheel as well- curbed it and had them fix it.

Guess it's time go cleaning the basement, actually. Ha!

Happy 4th!! After doing some research I came across Eduardo the Pts expert. This speed yellow was the only customer ordered Pts 987.2 spyder. The other 2 were dealer ordered, and pnca ordered the other one for the car show circuit.

Awesome purchase. One of the last 987 spyders built. MY2012 was only for sale for three months. This one was either June or July build. One of the best.

Not a lot is known about the Azure Spyder. It had all the right stuff, PSE, buckets, stick shift, full carrera red leather. Offered for sale in VA. It was sold to a customer named Jon in Oregon. But I don't think he posts here.

He still has it. I have inquired a few times but sounds like he is still enjoying it!
