Low Coolant Light 2005 Boxster
My buddy just picked up an 05 boxster with only 25k miles.
The low coolant red light comes on from time to time and he gauge reads no temp (all the way left). If you drive it for a bit all goes away and the light goes out and the gauge reads normal. Sometimes the light pops back on and the gauge goes back to 0 temp.
Pressure tested the system, no issues, no leaks.
I thought there was a little bubbling at the blue cap in the trunk.
I checked the level and its fine.
Common issue? Any Ideas?
Thanks, I am an air cooled guy.

Check that the blue cap has at least 04 as the last digits in the part number. Older caps are prone to leaks. With the coolant full does the temp gauge still act flaky?
