What a day! Today I traded my beloved 991 GT3 in on a Boxster Spyder that is equipped perfectly for my tastes. I have a '16 GT3 RS coming (PTS) and it keeps getting delayed for whatever reason....so, I decided to get something different. All I can say is WOW! What a fun car. This has to be the most under-hyped car in Porsche's lineup. What a bang for the buck. The LWB's are also terrific; very comfortable and incredible driving position. This car just feels so connected with the driver, and the road. Love at first drive! Here are some pics. I just got back from a nighttime LA canyon run. Roof down, wind in the hair, just perfect. I ordered a Spyder as well after hearing the RS won't get here til July now. Should ease some of the pain, right?

Beautiful Spyder, also love the floor in your garage. I guess you don't need to be concerned about rock salt killing your floor. Nice set up!

Paint protection completed - incredible job - they removed the headlights, spray nozzles, gas cap and the install is so clean. Took 2 guys almost the full day. Well worth it, especially in black. One of the odd things about this build is that when you get the red stitching package, they omit the steering wheel and shift boot. I got the shift boot (and shifter, comes as one) from Suncoast and swapped it out - love the difference. Minor expense and ties it all in.

I went to test drive a triple black car yesterday in Orlando (no LWB though). Someone came about 30 min before me a bought the car after the test drive. I didn't even get to drive it.

Wow, one of the most stunning Porsches I have ever seen. Congrats on the pickup.
Weird about the red stitching on the boot and steering wheel. Are you sure that wasn't a mistake? Because my GT4 had red stitching on both.

I love the satin black wheels - never thought I would. Just switched them on my RS build. Very excited.
