987.2 GT3 master cylinder upgrade - booster too?

Is it necessary / optimal to upgrade the brake booster to GT3 spec when upgrading the master cylinder?

negative. make sure you bleed the ABS module too, made a slight improvement into a great one!

I did not upgrade the brake booster on my '11 Boxster S when I installed a 997 GT3 master cylinder and I am pleased with the results. To get maximum braking now I really have to push on the pedal but I like it that way.

Does anyone happen to have the Part # I know Suncoast has it but they list their part # and Pepe's has a few listed so not sure which one to pick...
