Bumping this up again. Took a drive into the countryside this afternoon and realized all over again why I love this car so much.

Default A rare Spyder in the rain...

Anyone like to wager a guess at what this is next to my Spyder? Hint: It's one of 10 in the world and the exhaust is stock. And the owner drops it off for the day at our "Porsche Platz" here at the Vancouver International Auto Show.

Joel, is it one of the specially equipped 1989 930 Turbo S Works cars specially configured for the French car importer, Sonauto, with the 959 seats, the special exhaust, the Turbo badge delete, etc.?

^^^^^^^^ If it is one of the rare Sonauto cars, then note that one was stolen in 2016:

You may want to check the dash plaque and if it looks like this, notify authorities!

Please promise to split the reward money with me, Joel!

Ale, whether intended or not, I love how the green railing ties in with your stripes in this photo

I finally made it to the Petersen Automotive Museum today for the Porsche Effect exhibit:

https://www.petersen.org/porscheeffect/

The exhibit runs through January so any of you visiting Los Angeles between now and then should consider this a must-see (Shaun, this means you!).

These were taken on the 3rd Level of the Petersen parking structure. Following Ale's lead, I worked in the red railing to compliment the interior.

Fantastic Nick! Without question the red/grey Spyder interior is one of the most beautiful.

Holy crap! This one (in the pic) was purchased years ago from a French architect living in Paris and imported over by it's current owner. It's such a cool car with the groovy 956 seats. Sorry I don't have a pic of them. All 10 were black on black.

It's amazing what comes out of the woodwork in this town. We don't have the sheer numbers of southern California but there's still cool stuff here.
