Default Staying Organized with RideCache – Managing Your Car’s To-Do List

We can all list a dozen things that need to be done to our cars right now – some more serious than others. And we have all had the experience of walking into a parts store, knowing there are 10 things we need and only being able to remember 2 or 3 of them. This problem multiplies with the number of vehicles you are managing. RideCache is designed to ease this pain by helping you easily organize and manage all the task lists for your vehicles.

We all do the best we can to manage these lists with Post-It notes, whiteboards, or spreadsheets, but here are some of the ways that RideCache can make tracking these tasks easier, more efficient – and even fun and rewarding!
  • Easily organize, filter and search these tasks according to:
    • Type: To-Do, Wish, In Progress, Scheduled, Completed
    • Status: Maintenance, Repair, Upgrade, Modification, Restoration
    • Priority: High, Medium, Low
  • Setup recurring tasks for regular maintenance items – complete with associated parts and providers – then mark those tasks complete and re-generate new ones with a single click
  • Store pictures with each To-Do task – as many as you want – first showing what needs to be done, then the work in progress, and finally the finished task. A nice visual lasting record of that suspension upgrade for example (and without cluttering up your main picture gallery with pictures of every nut and bolt)!
  • View, search and filter a master list of all your tasks across all of your vehicles (ex: “show me the last time I did the brakes on all 7 vehicles”)
  • Access your task list from any internet connected device, anywhere at anytime (like in that parts store!)
  • Completed tasks become a part of your vehicle’s RideCache, a valuable history that can be transferred to the next owner with a single click

Here is an example of a task list in RideCache. The first task is "To Do", while the rest are completed as indicated by the green “Completed” badge and the line through the task title. The green world icon indicates these are all “public” in privacy and the arrows indicated priority (High, Medium, Low). In RideCache, clicking a task in the list will open the task where you can see/edit more task detail and pictures, plus associated parts, providers, papers and notes.

And remember, you can use RideCache for free with one car, then when you are ready to upgrade to a higher level (manage more cars, get more features), use the RENNLIST50 code (make sure to type all upper case!) for a 50% discount off a first year subscription - that is only $10 for your first year of Basic Level (2 cars) and $25 for Enthusiast Level (8 cars) - less than the cost of an oil change!
