Default Spyder Available.

If anyone it's looking for a Spyder I was just told there it's a white one available at Porsche south point. Ask for Emmanuel Kratzat. If I didn't have a GT4 coming in June I'll be all over this.

Shocked at how many Spyders there are on Auto Trader right now. Even one discounted $3k off sticker.

Same thing happened with the 987 Spyder. That will change as soon as the weather breaks, guaranteed. Prices also change seasonally on these cars although the 987 seems to have stabilized around the $50 - $60K depending on configuration.

Agreed, I think they'll all sell come spring time, I just figured more would have been spoken for. Given the number out there right now though, I would expect one might be able to negotiate a few grand off MSRP right now.

I so want to pick up my dealer's last allocation! i wish I knew how much the 911r was going to be because that's the other car that has my attention at the moment, that car and a Targa GTS but a Spyder would save me 30K+ over these. IMO the Spyder is a deal at 85-110k.

Definitely the spyder appeal will rise given the 718 taking over and the deletion of the spyder on Porsche NA's website, availability and let's get real it's unique. They basically stopped production at this point. Mine has been pushed up no doubt because of the 718. Rock on Spyder!!!!

I think it's liable to do the opposite, given the new look of the 718, the increased power over the 981, and the lower pricing than the Spyder. I'm not a turbo 4 fan by any stretch, but I really like the new Boxster. I think there are some buyers that will prefer the 718.

We are all delusional if we think that future Porsches's will not offer better performance over previous models, that has consistently been true since Porsche's inception over 50 years ago.

But performance isn't everything.

9K off? I wonder what the dealership paid for it? Is it a press car?

I was told I had until the end of the month for an allocation. I've been sitting on my hands.
