dash rattle noises in Cayman R
This seems like an easy fix but since I don't want to break anything I thought I would ask advice first.
The painted plastic strip that is immediately above the glove box rattles. It does not have cup holders and I would like to attach it more firmly as I finally found that it was the culprit to causing an annoying rattle. How best to remove without breaking. It is painted, ( paint to sample so not easily replaced if I break it )
Thinking a quick fix of double sided tape would do the trick.
Any suggestions on removal?
thanks all in advance,

PS, yes i know if I drove it harder I wouldn't hear it but all kidding aside.....

Mine doesn't rattle but occasionally squeaks.
I simply press on it for a moment and the squeak goes away. If that doesn't work.....more throttle
I was thinking about putting in the cup holders but don't think it's worth the cost. I'll just keep the water bottle in my lap.
