Am considering ordering a Cayman GTS with an MSRP in the range of mid to
high $80s.

Can anyone give me some idea of what kind of discounts I can expect on such an order?

I haven't seen any additional allocations for this model... you might be out of luck.

Thanks for your reply. At this point in the model year I can understand a 2015 may be difficult. 2016 MY probably makes the most sense

MY15 is closed, so it would have to be a '16. 3-5% would be my estimate on discount, though exceptions at both ends seem to occur.

Got 4.5% on boxster gts order. $90,000 msrp. Had to work about 10 dealers in the region. Some wouldn't do any discount. Took a lot of calls/emails to get the 4.5%. Ordered in April car will be a 16. Projected to arrive August/September. Shopped Indiana, Ohio, Illinois.

Just ordered a few weeks ago. 3% off msrp. November delivery.

Ordered in January and just picked up about three weeks ago. Spoke with three dealers (two in OH, one in PA) and had two willing do to 5% off MSRP. I would think GT4 will leach some sales from GTS, but maybe not.
