My sentiments completely....this is one special ride in so many ways! I'm driving in Sport + most of the time because it is just so fun! The sound and performance is intoxicating not to mention the looks and jaw-dropping.

Sorry but need this spelled out for me. This is for down shifting to speed up? And rev-matching takes care of that moment when you down shift and you slow down before you speed up?

It blips the throttle automatically during downshifting to match lower gears speed. Active with sport plus button.

Rev matching is usually for downshifting during deceleration so that balance of the car isn't upset.. Especially if braking while turning where balance is critical

I don't use "driving shoes"

Any normal shoe should do just fine, unless you are running high heels

These are good. You won't drive any better but they look cool and nobody else will be wearing them.

Hi Paul

As I say the car is fantastic.
I find it difficult to give a review that will make sense to everyone, as I guess we all come to a new car from a different place. My last sports car was a 987BS, so this is a completely different animal.
I've only managed 200 miles so far and hoping to get it paint protected next week, then when weather permits, put a few more miles on it.
But from my point of view.... The engine, gear shift, ride, handling, brakes, sound !!, interior fit and finish are all top notch.
It also looks stunning IMHO.
I haven't even worried about the much talked about long second gear. But I guess that depends what you're doing with the car.
The hood will take a bit of getting use to, but the more times I play with it the easier it's getting.
All in all it's a fantastic piece of kit.
You will not be disappointed I'm sure.
Ref the seats, I've got the heated GT2 buckets, they are snug, but comfortable.
But it's the first time I've had heated seats in a convertible, they are great on a chilly evening with the heater on full chatter. Don't think I'll ever buy again without !!!

Heated seats: perhaps man's greatest invention? Me thinks so!

Congrats and thanks for the initial impressions.
