It's not in Arlington, but I'd recommend ASG in Falls Church. Just a few miles.

The shops below participate with the region on tech inspections for the DEs and have good reputations:

Sportscar Shop - Sterling
IMA Motorsport - Chantilly
InterSport - McLean
Autobahn - Fairfax
Chapman Auto Werks - Sterling
Auto Sportsystems Group - Fairfax

A couple of the guys from Intersport participate in DE and a lot of the folks go there.

At Speed is still around as is SSI in Joppa, MD with no negative comments.
