Default Who has submitted a deposit for the 981 GT4?

If so, where are you on the list?
I'm #4 at my dealer. Curious where everyone else stands.

I'm number one on the list at my dealer for the GT4 and keeping my fingers crossed that some flavor of PDK is an option!

Just curious, what was the deposit amount you all put down, if you don't mind?

My situation is a little different. I submitted a PTS order for a Cayman GTS. For PTS orders they require 10% down. My build is June at the earliest... So far from being locked. I told them to put my name down for the GT4 too to cover all my bases. Normally they require a $1k deposit.

$1k, fully refundable if I back out and goes towards the price of the car if everything works out.

If you're contemplating getting on the list, be sure to get everything, including your place in line, in writing... A quick look-up of your state law on getting deposits back might be a smart extra step as well.

No one knows (or if they do they aren't telling) but the speculation seems to have coalesced around 90k USD.

I suppose if the deposit is 100% refundable then when they finally decide and tell you it's a $135k Cayman you can get your money back..

135 is more than the starting price of the gt3 although you can't order one of those anymore. I'm sure is will be right around or slightly under 100k. You might be able to get to 135 though with PCCBs, leather options, sport buckets, etc

Pretty much!

I have no doubt I'll be able to do plenty of damage configuring the car the way I would want to and get the price to something bordering on unreasonable. If it starts at unreasonable though, I can indeed get my $1k back.
