It's a dealer that has been a Porsche Premier dealer for the fifth year in a row.....not sure if that makes a difference. But with the number of allocations they've received for other cars, I'm feeling confident I'll be alright.

My dealer informed me that they delivered 5 GT3's last year and he felt confident that I would get a GT4. He also said the deposits were made close to a year ago and that some might drop out once the real official info is released. I think the manual only will do that for some. Time will tell.

Not number 1 but on the list since this week. No deposit yet. They will take one once there is more concrete information. At that point it will be a refundable $5k. Given the current money market rates, not a bad "investment" lol.

While I understand that a lot of dealers are happy to tell you something they don't know, I wouldn't generalize and put us all in that category because some of us actually do know. We have an IMSA, series winning, cup car that curries us some favor with Porsche. While I can't directly discuss here, I'll be happy to help you off the forum as best I can. -- Matt
