Been thinking about getting a convertible for the coming summer to join my 4S and Macan S in the garage so I dropped by the Porsche Centre last week to test drive a Boxtser GTS.

Wow…what a blast….the sound is fantastic…..sounds better than my 4S with PSE….so much fun. So…. I put down a deposit on a white GTS. Should get it early March.

Would suggest you add the red stiching to as the 'cherry on top. Stunning. But why not go the metallic white exterior w the rest of your stable mates?

My other Pcars are the solid white not the metallic so have gone for the same colour for the Boxster GTS. To me, a Porsche is white. It's a racing heritage thing. All the racing Porsches in the 20+ years have largely be white. Just take a look at the latest LE Mans series cars and the Carrera Cup cars which are predominantly white. Although the very early years of racing, the cars were silver. But today, I always associate silver with MB, red with Ferarri, green with Lotus and Jaguar, and...white with Porsche.

I also went with the same wheels as my 4S and Macan - the Turbos - not the std black Carrera S wheels. I am a bit **** like that. I like them to match.
