I was of that opinion for a while - I thought it wasn't really needed on 981s given their size. However once you get used to having a rear facing camera, it's hard to go back to not having one. It's also a great safety feature.

Placed my order on the 24th....was able to talk it down 4%. Car gets here March/April....I can't wait!

Hey Steve, I ordered my Cayman GTS on Sept 2 and took delivery on Dec 14. Spoke with a few dealers and most would not deal much on a factory order GTS. Ordered through the dealer I had bought from before. got 3% off so your 4% is a darn good deal. Could have gotten 6% on an S but really wanted the GTS. I am extremely happy! Billy

I ended up switching to an all leather interior, and adding the fire extinguisher and having the wheels painted in platinum silver.

Have you given any thought to PDK. I was a 100 percent manual prior to PDK. Totally changed my mind. Thought that would never happen!

My 997 has PDK and I absolutely love it. I would've gotten it in the Cayman, but I knew I'd miss having a manual car around.
