Default urget help needed on selling front tires

Hi Guys,

Sorry, I know I can use the search engine and spend a few hours to find my answers but I'm on a time crunch and need answers ASAP.

I'm replacing all sets of 4 tires. The current front tires are in good shape though and I thought I might sell them used. They're (Bridgestone Potenza re760 sport). Can I use the Classifieds for this? is it reasonable to expect say 50$ each for them? The tread is good but the side treads are starting to fade out. Also what do I need to do to gain access to the classifieds? I tried to right now and I didn't have access.

Am I allowed to post pictures of them here just to see if my price estimate is reasonable? or too low? or too high?

Thanks and sorry for starting a new thread for this

Need to pay for a membership to list in classifieds. Check the date codes on the sidewalls. If they are old they are junk.

Thank you Zedcat. I read them, they're 2011. Junk I suppose?

Thank you TroyN. Not a bad idea. I'm sort of split on thinking if it's ethical to sell such old tires. Maybe it's for the better to just throw them away. I actually do know a friend of a friend who died in a car accident caused by used tire blow out.

Hmm, if I think I should toss them. Unless I hear a different opinion here.

Sweet looking ride by the way. It looks pristine.

Not necessarily. The guideline iirc is 5 years so depending on the week date code they would be about 3 years old. Maybe try local craigslist as suggested above.

If I Recall Correctly.

I don't think it's unethical to sell the tires, but you might get closer to $25 each for them. I suggested Craigslist since shipping for used tires makes for bad economics.

Oh and thanks re: the car. It's in nice shape but only looks pristine in pics!
