Default Nova Scotia Road Trip

This was my second road trip in my new Boxster S in 5 weeks. What a peach of a car and some great driving roads around the beautiful coastline of Nova Scotia. She got good and dirty over the week but the right rear tire patch (internal patch) held so my fretting about having a spare was unfounded. The 13 hour sprint home was a bit arduous but with top down under sunny skies, I was able to stay awake.

My wife just informed me that I am bragging. Didn't realize that was what I was doing. I thought I was just sharing adventures with my fellow Porsche enthusiasts. Anyway she could not accompany me so she is probably just jealous.
SCat it was about 800 miles home, I made a few stops.
Dino, thanks for the kind words.

It was my first time up there, and by the way, what is an X1/9?

Aha, got it. That way exceeds my sports car knowledge. Thanks.

Not at all bragging, that's how we get our ideas for trips. I'll have to dig up a ( an actual physical 4x6 ) picture, X1/9's were pretty popular racecars in the late 70's, the 1980 I had was the first year of Bosch fuel injection, pretty reliable. Won the metro SCCA autocross series a couple of years and eventually turbocharged it...

Production actually went into the late 1980s, but after FIAT left the US around 1982, it was then sold & marketed as the Bertone X1/9.
