Default Questions for Spyder owners

1) Have you seen a temporary top that you can use for temporary purposes, quick on and off (think sun top for jeeps)
2) Has anyone added the trim piece over the speedo

Thanks

The top is relatively quick when you get the hang of it. Maybe 45-90 seconds and your good to go.

You already have something for that. The 'sunshade' piece. That takes less than one minute to put on, don't bother with the rear 'weather protector' piece.

What I'd love to see someone make is a mesh top like the Taylor Mesh Top for the Lotus Elise;

I'd certainly use a mesh top.

I think I read some where in the archives where someone added the trim piece over the gauges and it was not a big deal.

Much prefer the look of mine without the rear section.

No rear section creates a nice cabin breeze as well but at higher speeds, IMO would eventually stretch the canvass trailing arms from repeated wind assault. The mesh top would be a piece of cake if you had a spare CF front piece on the bench...

Since the subject is up, I would like either a cockpit car cover or a old fashion Tonnou (sp) cover so you could quickly cover the cockpit when going in a store etc

I'd like one of those tonneau or cockpit covers too, just to keep the tree pollen out of the interior...

Yikes!

I use this when I make quick stops and do not want to put the top back on:

What is that cover made from? Any issues with it blowing off on a windy day (windy here in KC)?
