BGB and Deman have done quite a few of these boxster/cayman 3.8 conversions. I haven't seen a complaint about not passing inspection yet.

Oh my...

Please bring this beauty down the next San Diego PCA auto-x so I can steal...err, I mean...experience this slice of perfection in person. At least share some on-board vids so we can live vicariously through you. I'll even donate my GoPro.

Would love to. PM me the auto-x dates. I belong to PCA, but have done no events with them. Have been running POC exclusively, but would like to do both.

Cheers

+1 I would definitely be interested in hearing the differences and seeing some track video.

When I saw the top shot of the engine tucked in and installed my first thought was whoa....that thing is going to be a beast. Looking forward to your updates.

Bravo.

This is exactly what I would do with a Spyder.

Got to ride in, and drive a Spyder for the first time today. Whoa! What an amazing car! So dialed in and responsive. Now I see what all the Hub Bub is about. With this conversion it is going to be a real beast.

Can you describe the main differences in feel from your base/S Boxster?
