I like the "yellow brake calipers". Those sound fancy!

Only thing missing is full leather, and the right wheels.

This is a drivers car. PCCB, MT, Short throw shifter, PSE, and carbon bucket seats. Cool.

Wheels are the easiest to swap out. How much is it?

Anytime an oddly low mi car pops up, it's wise to be extra vigilant about repairs.
Could be wrong but the RF fender looks reshot in tint and clear depth.

Why would low mileage suggest damage to the car?

Not just low mi, but oddly low miles like less than 1000mi/yr, as in this case, gives clues that the car could have been out of commission for some of that time.
For people who buy and sell cars often, it's a common tell to look for repairs that could have led to the excessively low mi.

I spoke with the dealer...statements are no paint work at all...they purchased the car from a client that has a fair number of Porsche cars...in this case he has two Spyders the white one he sold and a red one he is keeping ... for anyone looking I think it is worth taking a closer look at this one ...

I have 3 cars and all have low miles...

Spyder has 5,000

97 turbo has 10,150

09 turbo has 1,960

no damage ever to any of them ... I commute via mass transit in the winter months with the salt and snow the cars are not coming out ... really weekend only use

Lol, I'm not saying the car was damaged,
I'm saying it's a reason to be extra vigilant.
If you believe your low mi habits means all low
mi. cars follow your example, you will be met with
many disappointments. Have seen it too many times
and have heard the stories only to find repairs that were not disclosed.
A paint meter will answer the question quickly, because dealers aren't always
reliable sources of unbiased information. Even they might not know, or want to.

You're right a paint meter will answer the question. As for the rest, personally I don't think it's rare for a Porsche to have low miles, most are second cars. I never, drove mine to a work parking lot, grocery store or shopping center and we have long winters so your mileage thesis to me is kooky.

PS Unless the thing was near totaled most body shops are pretty quick these days, it's not like when my dad had was in the car business and your sports car would disappear for 9-13 months for a full paint job. So again in my opinion the low miles equation to body work is a leap.
