I am still miffed at why I did not get the recall. I have had the car since new. As for the warning…that has me miffed as well….I never saw it pop up until yesterday….and it only came on twice during 4 starting attempts!

IIRC, the 'recall' was very vague. No letter. Just an email which could have easy been dismissed as junk mail.

What range did the recall cover? Mine has never had the switch replaced, it's a 2/2011 Build so it was completed right before they switched to the 2012 MY.

I don't know, but you might want to call in and check to make sure since they weren't very obvious about the 'recall'

It wasn't a real recall. More like an advisory that it should be done at your convenience. I remember it was an email they sent to me. At first I thought it was a mistake because they were referencing a cayenne, which I do not own. This was sometime last summer.
