Default Tall drivers in a Boxster Spyder?

6'2" - What is the fit like with and without a helmet?

I'm about 6'1" and with the sport buckets it feels like the seat needs to be lowered about one or two inches to be at the ideal height. That's not possible, however you can get some custom brackets fabricated to lower the seat about 3/4". With the lowering brackets, wearing a helmet and taking out the seat cushions get me under the broomstick test by about 1/2".

The sport seats definitely sit a little lower than the sport buckets but not sure how much.

I'm 6'0" and with the regular sport seats I have no problem whatsoever and could wear my Arai with plenty of space (I'm an ex-motorcycle racer with lots of injuries---so I needed plush versus snug). My head is nowhere near the roof. They sit pretty low actually. Some folks don't like the sport seats, but I find them perfect for the street. However, if you track the car then there is indeed an advantage to go with the sport buckets. So I guess the answer is that it depends on whether you get the sport buckets or regular sport seats.

6'2" and my height is pretty evenly distributed between my torso and legs. I fit perfectly with sport seats. I sat in the buckets once with a helmet on and there's absolutely not enough room for me.

If you have the sport buckets, as I do, you can remove the bottom seat bolster to help meet the broomstick test.
I also find this position more comfortable.
6'0"
