Default My Spyder for sale, bittersweet 2...

Need to make room for newest toy, a 2001 BMW Z8 so the 2011 Spyder has to go. Currently has only 2000 miles, inservice date is June 2011 so there is plenty of warranty left. White, black heated sport seats, 6 speed manual, like new condition. See pics in photobucket link below:

http://s1059.photobucket.com/albums/...ster%20spyder/

Priced for a quick sale at $54,900 because I need the sales tax credit on the BMW Z8 I just bought. My dealer is doing a courtesy trade and will handle the paperwork on this sale. Clean carfax as I am 1st owner, bought this past august as a Porsche dealer GM demo with 700 miles. Please PM or email jvmax@msn.com for more info

Yes they are both great cars, and if my Spyder doesnt sell I might just keep it. The Z8 is my weekend/special car and I hope to keep it to pass down to my kids. The Z8 has always been on my wish list and I found one locally with 7k miles. Silver with red/black interior. How long did you have your Z8 and what color was it?

Funny... I have a Z8 (new since '01) and would like to add a spyder.

PS: Go to bmwz8.us for all the info (worlds biggest z8 forum)

Congrats on the Z8 and good luck with the sale. The Spyder looks great. The Z8 is probably one of only a few cars including the Ford GT that was made in the last 10 years that has actually increased in value since production.

Default Beautiful Spyder and Good Choice on the Z8!

jvmax, beautiful Spyder! I agree with Madjackdog that it will sell in short order. Good luck!

On the Z8, you will love it! I had a MY2001 from 2003 to 2007! It was an incredible vehicle and got lots of notice everywhere I went. It was Silver with the Red/Black interior. Even the rear boot, covered in Red carpeting, was impressive. I had European neon lights in the rear. When those yellow lights came on it was a sight to behold!

I concur with Ian that you should join Andrew Macpherson's website dedicated to the Z8 here in the US (http://www.bmwz8.us). Great folks, including a rascal with the handle 'NorCal'!

Saludos,
Eduardo

I think so. I took most of them off fine 356's during past PCA Concours' while their owners were on lunch break having bratwurst & Weissbier! It was a lot of hard work (fast & furious) so I sure hope they are the real deal!

Both sweet cars and I can understand the desire for diversity. Myself, I would only sell my Spyder because I'm too old to get in it or to replace it with something even more exotic like a GT 40 or a used Ferrari California.

you snooze you lose.

I ran into a vintage racing wheel collector once. He had with him an old Ferrari F1 steering wheel from the early 1960's. He said it was going for about $10K.

Hold onto those steering wheels...
