Question: Did you have to order it with the clear side markers, or did it just come that way?

That's a after purchase mod that the dealer can do. All Porsche's come standard with Amber.

i ordered the same color car, same wheels (in black), but I asked for clear side markers. Can't WAIT to see what my dealer charges me for those...

Love the silver exterior as really shows the exterior design details. Grey interior is beautiful.

I make the clear side markers part of the purchase so they are installed when I drive it off the lot. Dealers usually have these in stock and they clip in in minutes.

Relax, my friend. Clear side markers are only $30, at least for 987. My purchasing dealer (not current) did not charge me anything for installing them.

Best wishes.

My dealer gave me the clear side markers. He is keeping the orange ones and can sell those so its not really costing him much if anything.

I sure hope they don't charge for installation. It's literally "plug and play" on virtually every 911, Boxster, and Cayman.

Congrats to the OP!

Very true. It should take less than 1 minute if one already knows how to change them.
