That is a stunning combo. Porsche has come a long ways with their interiors in the past few years.

Update on my order... My SA just notified me that my Cayman GTS PTS Fashion Grey order was accepted by PAG... No build date yet.
I asked if that means if my order will be a 2015 versus 2016? ...He stated it will still be a 2016. At least I know I will be getting PTS
Eduardo... You ok with me giving updates on my order here or should I start a new thread? No problem either way. Might actually be better I start a new one?

Meet Barbara Boeckenhoff, new Manager of 'Porsche Exclusive' in the US!
Here is our first video of Barbara Boeckenhoff, Manager of 'Porsche Exclusive' - Personal Design at PCNA. She is the replacement for Sascha Glaeser and she is based at PCNA Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. She will be assisted in the task by veteran Melissa Witek in Atlanta and newcomer Matthew Henry in Los Angeles. In this video, Barbara is seen with PCA's Executive Director Vu Nguyen talking about the West Coast's 'Porsche Exclusive' showcar - the 'Viper Green' 2014 911 Turbo S that debuted at the Porsche Parade at Monterey last June. Barbara just joined PCNA, coming from Porsche AG in Zuffenhausen where she worked in the 'Porsche Classic' department. Her first official event in the US was at the Los Angeles Auto Show this past November. Barbara can be contacted at:

Just received this reply from the Porsche Exclusive in regards to PTS in Fashion Grey for a Cayman GTS. At the time when I wrote them, they were not aware that I submitted a request for Fashion Grey to PAG already, which I have received approval for.
This is further confirmation that my car will be a 2016.
I am curious on the embargo he is talking about for the 2016 model. Is this standard for every model year? or is this a hint that 2016 will be the 981.2? I'm sure it's the prior.
Hi --------------,
I hope this email finds you well and Happy New Year!
Before going in to everything, I'd like to quickly introduce myself as I received your information from our manager of the Porsche Exclusive - Personal Design Program, Ms. Barbara Boeckenhoff. I am the Porsche Exclusive - Personal Design Specialist responsible for the west coast and will be happy to assist with any future questions or concerns you may have.
With regards to Paint to Sample, we've unfortunately reached our production capacity for the 2015 model year. Do not worry as this option will be coming available again shortly. I can not confirm as of now when everything will be back up and running, but most likely this option should come available for June production which is when we switch over to the 2016 models. This does not mean the order needs to be placed in June (most likely you will want to do this in March or April), which is why we must wait for the embargo of our 2016 models. If you are quite set on doing a PTS build, I would suggest holding off on your order until the spring, but should you be interested in receiving the car sooner than later we can try to go ahead and find another match for you.
I'd also like to extend the invitation to come down to our Porsche Exclusive - Personal Design Studio in the coming months should you decide to wait. The studio will allow you to see all that Porsche has to offer in addition to several fun options that we do not advertise publicly.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Best Regards,
Matthew Henry

'Fun Option' revealed...
It was going to be a secret until the MY2016 'embargo' is lifted...but I'll spill the beans now & hope Matthew, Melissa & Barbara won't mind. Starting in June, this 'fun option' will be available on any 981 Cayman and/or 991 Coupe:
Want to meet that cute 'chick' driving the Prius next to your Porsche? Just turn on your rooftop PA system and start a conversation! It's bound to be a popular option, right up there with the other big 'Porsche Exclusive' seller - the heated Mahogany Multifunctional Steering Wheel! With either option, you get a woody! Who says Porsche doesn't have a sense of humor?

good to hear from you Eduardo!
I, too, was wondering about "fun options"
glad to know about Porsche's sense of humor
looking for some 3.8l humor, suspension bits, and jelly bean colors

Hi Eduardo
Sorry for replying almost 2 years late , but I just found this question in an unrelated online search. So far I was staying away from joining Rennlist since I really am already spending enough time on that other forum .
Actually the price was the same as the other deviated stitching. You were instrumental in helping me back in 2012 by introducing me to Sascha who helped me with setting it up: I first ordered it with Pebble Grey stitching and Sascha then checked in Stuttgart on his trip back home if they had Racing Yellow and to what color number I had to change the Z-order. For more see http://www.planet-9.com/blogs/mike-r...-prologue.html.

Looks great. First time I see deviating 'yellow' on a 981 or 991! What is that color deviating stitching officially called on Mike R. custom order & how did it differ in pricing from the standard charge for normally available deviating stitching colors in the 981/991 which were limited to:
Black
Platinum Grey
Yachting Blue
Luxor Beige
Espresso
Pebble Grey
Carrera Red
Agate Grey
Guards Red
Lime Gold
hankhoh, you got a winning color combo there!

Racing Yellow, Amber Orange, Garnet Red, Cognac, Yachting Blue, Umber, Cream, etc...are all offered on the configurator as deviating stitching colors
do you think they will offer green? maybe acid green or birch green or viper green?

Re: 'Green' Deviating Stitching:
I have been asking Sascha Glaeser about offering us a true 'green' deviating stitching for the 991/981 since 2013! I last spoke to him about it in August at the Porsche Zentrum at The Quail. 'Not Yet' was the answer I received from him in every occasion. For those interested, it would help if you bring this subject up with Barbara Boeckenhoff (if any of you Rennlisters have the opportunity to talk to or email her). I would hope that 'Porsche Exclusive' takes the current period where PTS is not possible to examine all its options and create a wider range of 'deviating stitching' that could be matched to the wonderful palette of exterior colors currently approved, including 'Viper', 'Signal Green', 'RS Green', 'Birch Green', etc!
For the general information of this forum, PAG briefly offered a sort of 'Acid Green' deviating stitching in 2012/2013. This was when this particular 991 cabriolet was built for 'Porsche Exclusive' and displayed at Zuffenhausen during my last trip there in April of 2013.
But that color deviating stitching disappeared quickly (Rennlister JUPJAI inquired)...either that particular 'green' stitching, or something even louder, was used temporally by the factory for the '918 Spyder' 911 projects -limited edition models available to 918 deposit holders. But once they were build, that green stitching went away!

And I think I was the only 2013 model year 981 that got racing yellow stitching. I am almost sad that they introduced it now so I am not that unique. Seriously, if you get a racing yellow car and full black leather interior, get the stitching. Since I was not able to order the yellow at first I did not add the lower door stitches (which I wish I could have in yellow but would not have looked good with pebble).
I decided against any of the interior painted trim items, because it looks too plastic in yellow.
Now if I only could get the center tach yellow (was not an option when I ordered). I know FVD makes a yellow insert, but it converts also the useless speedo which makes it look uneven.
