Trying to find my old car - May be near Olympia, WA
Hello folks --
Looking for a little help from the community. In January of 2007 I bought a Guards Red Cayman S.
Here's a photo of her on her maiden voayge:
A little over a year later I traded it in on a new 911. Anyway, long story short, I'd love to find the car and explore buying it back if the current owner was willing to sell. The dealer I bought it from, Carrera Motors in Bend OR, has resold the car twice, and according to CarFax it is now registered in the Olympia, WA area.
I asked the dealer to contact the current owner on my behalf, and they tell me they have tried, but it looks like the phone number they have is no longer in service. The email address they tell me is not bouncing back, but the owners are not replying either, so they don't really know if it is getting to anyone. I don't know the name of the current owner, and I don't expect the dealer to give me that information for privacy reasons, which is completely understandable.
The car is guards red, with black interior.
