I just put R888's on my Spyder, since Michelin doesn't make the Cups in mt rear tire size. SCarGo racing says they should be good for 3+ seconds a lap, and I look forward to putting that to a test!

Please share your impressions on the R888. What size are you running, I don't see a 265/35/19 fitment for the rear on Toyo's site.

You're right, they don't have the 35's, but the 30's in the R888 are within 10% due to the tread height (which some people don't like). I'm running 265/30/19 on the rear.

I haven't had them on the track yet, so I truly haven't tested them by pushing it on high-speed corners. However, on the very curvy road I live on (primarily 2nd and 3rd gear), I don't like the feel in the front. They seem to push, and due to the stickiness of the rear it's more difficult to smear (to get the nose pointed in the right direction) than the PS2's. These are very tight corners, hairpins in some cases, so I'm hoping that when on the track the front will feel better. The rears are excellent. Next time I need tires, in about 3K miles, I hope that Michelin has the Cups in the 35's. If not, I'll probably go for the 30's in the Cups.
