it is really interesting to see the lobster claw wheel design.

i think the back end shot covered in snow - there is a bit more buld there.

i see a little Ferrari and Corvette in these too - sorry on the miata comment just no comparo.

The canvas top looks more tapered (compared to 986/987) and less bubbly and, IMO, give the car better line when top is up. That's one dislike in styling with the 986/7 - the very rounded look when top is up.

Hey All,

I thought the new 2012 was gonna debut at geneva but all i have seen is pictures of the "black" edition?

Anxiously waiting cause i am hoping the prices for this generation will depress a little with the official unveiling.

The 911 will come first (Frankfurt in September).

I think the 981 will follow soon after, either L.A. in November, or Detroit in January. Maybe as late as Geneva next March.

Thanks Alan....somewhere i got my wires crossed. So the 981 will be a 2013 (weird to see that year written out) model year then?

and of course the reason the Boxster may grow is to make room for the Boxterette/VW

I doubt it will grow much, if at all. Floorplan development of the 981/991 had to have been finished years ago.
