And we thought WE had it bad with the cast holes in *our* Porsche rotors?
Nissan GT-R, a customer car used at the track just a few times:
This is the very reason why one should get away from holed rotors....
And also why I am a vendor for Gorodisc slotted hats & rotors - holed rotors for track use = bad news.....
Contact me for options for your car

To others who are tired of the holed rotors:
I have them, ready to go, available for any Cayman S or Boxster S - at a special Rennlist price. Seriously.

What's the big deal. At the track rotors should be thought of as a disposable item. The bone head in the video game car obviously cooked those big Brembos. You gots to pay to play.

I think Craig's point is the holes increase stress fractures, and they might have survived a little longer without them. Granted those rotors look fried with probably some hardened spots.
Another plug for the GiroDisc rotors is that they are upsized from stock 318mm -> 340mm. There is more mass in the disc and less in the aluminum hats.
