'09 options to fit on earlier 987s?
I'm looking to add PCS to my '05 987S w/ Bose... will the new '09 PCS work?
also, the new front and rear light assemblies are sweet... since it appears the body panels are intact, won't they bolt right on?

I've noticed that Sunset motors is carrying LED tail lights for the 997.2 to retrofit onto a 997.1, albiet you must change the bumper cover as 00r101 says:

perhaps they will carry the same for a 987.1 to 987.2 conversion.

It's my understanding that the electronics in the 2009s are totally different. I have a 2009 C2S on order and based on the Porsche Technik book, PCM is very different in many ways (ie: CD changer if ordered, Navigation, etc. are all contained within the PCM unit now vs. separate modules in the boot). I think it might be easier and who knows, even cheaper, to wait a few months and pick up a demo / used 2009 Boxster S and trade in your 2005
