Isn't it always? They are bleeding profits left and right. Maybe a slow down in our economy will lower their prices, but I doubt it given the weak dollar.

Oh well, gotta pay to play.

It is a good looking car. I like the silver/red thing - but there is still the question - why? It's almost like all of the "special" edition Mustangs available - only it is, of course, a Porsche...

it may be another pointless special edition, but I wouldn't mind to own one of these "Little Bastard" wannabe.

I agree it may be just another special Edition but with 303hp it will be one quick Boxster. Porsche of Lexington is getting one, I just finished sending out an email to the GM there as he asked my opinion of which of the two colors combo's I told him I liked the Silver/Carrera Red/Red

I think the true trend setter here is Mazda. Think of how many Special Edition Miatas rolled off the line. What the hell though, if it makes for a few more nicely spec'd Boxsters... no harm.

I like the silver, red, red combination too. It also has the really great dash plaque and the special door entry plates! I'd take one.

I love it for the looks... don't give butkus about the "special edition" history theme. That GT silver/red combo is sweet. I'm considering landing one for the spring driving season unless and until I can land a 911 turb at an acceptable discount.

I've only driven Boxsters at P-car school in Birmingham on the autocross track and each time I was thrilled with the driving feel and glorious sound.

We will see.

If they put the RS60 speedster hump on the back of that Boxster, it would look awesome. But NO.

Has anyone actually seen it with the red top up?
I haven't been able to find a pic.

Curious at the MSRP cost of the RS 60 Sypder limited edition?
