Default Just Picked Up An 05 987S for 10k Under Sticker.

The car.
Basalt Black
Tan Leather Interior
Bose Upgraded Sound system
dual Power/Heated Seats
And a couple other options I can't recall. I went to Beverly Hills Porsche to test drive a 997 Carrera S. Way to expensive for me at this point, but after driving the 987S.... In two words In Love! A much more fun car in my opinion
The car stickered for 58,200$. Got it for 49,500$. Plus clear side markers! Is that a great deal or what. Car only had a dozen or so miles on it as well. My first brand spanking new car. Best decision I ever made.

Sounds like a great deal. Black and Tan is one of the most beautiful combos on a Boxster. Good luck with it and enjoy your first new car!

Sweet deal. Congrats! Dang, that Cayman has a pretty high price premium (almost $20K) if you figure in street prices...

Awesome price, awesome car! We may be seeing more of this type of prices on leftover '05's now that the '06's are filling up lots. Exact same cars except for MY. And down the road when ready to resell, I don't believe there will be a $10K difference in used car price between the '05 and '06. Good deal.

Nice car! Definitely the best bang for the Porsche buck! Good luck with it.

Congrats Cameron! I just got a similar deal at Newport Auto Center in Newport Beach. It was their last 2005 Boxster. It's a base model with PASM, 6 speed, 19" Carrera wheels, windblocker, bi-xenons, sound package plus, heated seats, full leather sports sesats...for $47,400. I just went for a drive on the Ortega Highway this morning...The car is awesome!

They were willing to deal on the 2006 models as well, but not to this extent.

Bought our 05 987 in November '04 with big Bose, Cocoa Brown, 18" boxster S wheels, caps, 3 spoke leather wrapped wheel... 59k USD over here in the big sandbox... there is no tax over here. Lousy warranty though... they only give two years over here. What's with the 6 year warranty... sounds interesting. More info please?

CPO (Certified Previously Owned) gives a 6 year - 100,000 mile warranty. It's 6 years from the time the car was first titled or it's inception age, not from the time you bought it used. It's an incentive given by Porsche to raise the value (and cost) of their used cars.

congrats, great deal.
my 987S 2005 was also stickered at 58k, and thought my 6k off was good.

the car was first titled in Nov. 2005, so I have six years starting from Nov. 2005...
I went to the dealership at the end of month in February 2006, so they were more desperate to make a sale I guess. I think I could have shaved another 1 - 2K off the price if I tried...

the car has tiptronic ( I have to deal with Southern CA traffic although I prefer manual), bi-xenon, Bose stereo, arctic silver
