My 987S was scheduled for Feb build but I got a call from the dealer to say it got moved up. It was completed yesterday!!! Now I'm in real agony as it will take "6-8 weeks" to get it across the Atlantic to Halifax. I then have to put up with night sweats and panic attacks while some semi-alcoholic semi driver trucks it across Canada on icy roads! So I know where your at.

Thanks for the info Heddok!
I wish my dealer would keep me involved like that.....
I need to call and see where it's at. I know that as of 1/12/05 it was in a status of MFGCNF...but haven't checked what it is since. I guess I'm still planning on it being here around the first of april plus or minus a few weeks, and as much as I want it, the later the better because the weather will be better and I'll be able to save up more money for the down payment

Stacey - I'm in a bind too because the weather here in the "Great White North" is usually terrible till mid- April, ice, snow, road salt. pebbles. Last March we got temps of -25 F so the dealer said if the roads are bad when it gets here he'll truck it on a flat-bed to my house.... THEN I'll have to sit in my new S in the garage making VROOM VROOM noises and playing with the shifter!!!

Don't worry Brad. I can drive my car year 'round and I still do that

Just stopped by the dealer today. My car is still in pre production status. My salesman thinks it will arrive towards the end of March. Damn this wait is hard.....
