Default Drove a 2005 Boxster S today

Hi,

Just got back from my local Porsche dealership where me and a friend took out a 2005 'S' - I have to say, I was impressed.

The interior is a huge improvement, goes well, sounds good, looks good... For those of you who've ordered one - I don't think you'll be disappointed. Overall, a big

Dave.

Sounds good...short and to the point.

Thanks Dave.

I've driven the 987 as well for about 600 miles. AMAZING. the car really grows on you the more you drive it. There is a power difference to be felt on the 2,7, and the car sounds lovely (its quite loud, especially with the hood down, but never bothers) The tiptronic is also a big step forward. PSM is the best system of its kind. You feel much safer in it even compared to the 997. The most impressive was the feeling of solidity even compared to the last generation of 986s. Car feels very sure-footed (took it up to an indicated 255 klms/h). Definitely the best roadster on the market, and one of the most complete sports cars ever.
