Nizer,

I love that GPS FAL option. Porsche is way behind in some of these things.

K people, remember to make a random GT3 reference every once in a while so we don't get deported again.

Also the occasional sarcastic reference to overheating so we can all feel better about our Porsche brand tribalism.

I bet the C8 is faster than the GT3 on track for one lap lmao hahahaha kind of thing.

You're welcome.

Dying to drive it. I've driven the **** out or a 2019 ZR1 and while it still has the old trans, it still feels like a mushy soft sloppy Chevy.

That p!sses me off to say because I'm a GM fan over Ford products but Maybe it's finally time this C8 will feel taut, tight and engineered like a Porsche.

We will see.... we will see.
Interesting info here... soft and sloppy, don’t hold up as well over time either.

Already?

Wow.

No pics?

Because people are willing to pay it? :confused.
I don’t get the complaining about dealer service costs for routine items. Take the car to an independent or, better yet, do it yourself.

I wonder if GM will offer PTS for only $9,000. Maybe get the GT3 PTS down a bit. However, PAG would probably just increase PTS to make us feel more special 🤣🤣

That table is totally inaccurate for example my 720s is 3170lbs fully loaded with fuel (as measured on track weighbridge) - so nearly 500lbs less than the reported curb weight of the C8. 500lbs is a lot of pork.

i still love the 981 Cayman and still hope to have one someday, but this C8 is on another level from looks to HP and will have plenty of people like me who aren't brand loyalists or badge snobs likely leaning towards this.....I was never much of a Vette guy, until I saw the C8 and its numbers.(HP, tq, 0-60, price)
its an unbeatable package.....

already have a few builds ....this might be the one
Because a good car is so much more than a spec sheet

‘True. Corvette always has been a lot of car for the money, and the C8 represents a new direction that has great possibilities for encroachment into traditional European niches.

Yeah, so you have no fing clue what you are talking about. You just enjoy your Porsche. I will do - several of them. But I am also not blind to what Chevy has done with the last 20 years on these cars.

I mean this IS a Porsche forum. Fair-nuff - but please, don't let your bias cause outright ignorance.

Your neighbor got ripped off! With my $1,200 water pump the dealer offered me a snack and gave me a complimentary $25 or $29 (depending where on the receipt you looked) car wash. The fact that pulley on the water pump snapped at 40,000 miles (great build quality) about eight miles after I pulled the car out of the garage having been washed is irrelevant. I got a complimentary as in free, no charge, gratis car wash that didn't cost me a penny!
