Back to a Boxster
It's been a number of years since I sold my last Boxster, it was a '03 S Tip, now back to the world of Boxster as I've just bought a '11 Base PDK - don't have it yet though. Time to start some preliminary planning and was hoping to get some insight on a few questions and and other suggestions folks might offer.
I know I want to change the side indicators from orange to clear, easy swap with a kit, my question is about the hood relay, on my 986 I had the autotop relay to enable the hood while driving, does the 987 need one too or are there any changes in the hood operation?
Any other *hacks* I should be considering? What can be enabled via software or is that door closed on the 987? On my 986 I enabled cruise control and other minor goodies here and there.

I'd love to help but don't know what hacks you're talking about. The top on a 987 can be operated at 10mph or thereabout. The cruise control works like a cruise control. It's still a pretty basic sports car. You'll love it.

In my 986 days if you didn't have Cruise control you could enable it and add the stalk as well as other features, my question is really what features can be enabled (if any) on my incoming 987 in a similar way.
