I have been looking for a set of these for a while. I found these up in Minnesota and met the guy in Wisconsin yesterday.

I loaded them into my wife's Cooper S(!) and they fit in the back perfectly. I was worried about that.

I had to put them in right when I got home. They are pretty nice and very different from the Sport seats. I love them.

Those are incredible and I'd love to have some but they're worth north of 1/3 of my entire car!

Nice seats, they are awesome even on longer trips.

Yes they cost a bunch but on the plus side they don’t really lose any value so you could sell later without losing any money assuming you take care of them.

I have these in my Cayman R and at first I was lukewarm then I got used to the upright position and found them really comfortable. You'll get all your money out when you're done with them, or take them for the next car, you can't lose.

What kind of fire bottle and mount is that? It looks tidy.

I'm not saying they can ever truly be justified... I "just" have a 987.2 S/Manual Boxster. If I had a Spyder or R then perhaps my little head would start justifying it for the big head type of thing Your R is certainly more worthy than mine!

Yeah $8k for used seats is rough. I didn't try to justify it. That was how I dealt with it!! Haha. Money was there from the sale of some other parts and bingo.

I had to get a car with the sports seats as my height won't allow me to comfortably fit in a Cayman without them. They had been ordered on the 987.2 S I bought, and I love the way they feel. Fortunately, the owner really didn't upcharge for them, so I ended up with a good deal on the car.
