981 which bank is 1 and 2?
Looking for clarification on which bank is 1 and 2 on the 981? I found many posts on other Porsche models, but not this one.

Just received confirmation,
Bank 1: Passenger side Bank 2: Drivers side |

Yes, and cylinders are numbered starting on passenger side against the cockpit firewall, cylinder 1, back to cylinder 3, then over to driver's side against the cockpit firewall for cylinder 4, back to cylinder 6 at the aft end of the engine.

What are you looking for? An issue popping up or just curious?

Excuse me, as i understand 6 cylinder is drivers side back of the car? Have missfires in it and want to change coil.

Yes.
|
FWIW, it isn't particularly hard to change them all. If age / mileage dictate, something to consider.
Good luck! |
When I had one fail, I just replaced all 6.

I’ve said this before, when I changed all my coils and plugs, the part number of the new coils was one digit higher than the older coils. It is possible that the coils have been updated due to widespread misfire experiences.
