Default Bi-xenon vs. halogen

Im currently on the market for my first 987, and I'm currently looking at 987.1's but in going thru ads some are not as in-depth as others, and a big NEED in this car is the bi-xenon headlights. Is there a telltale sign that gives away the difference of one or the other. I thought it was the headlight washers being there or not, but not sure if thats fool-proof or not? Any help is appreciated, thank you.

You are correct... washers are the true indicator of it has factory bi-Xenia’s.

You could also check what options the car was equipped with from the factory by running a search on the VIN at VIN Analytics.

Okay - I will check that out, I've never used that specific one, but a lot of them don't really give specific information to the exact VIN but just list available options, and not necessarily options that actual VIN car has.

I say change the headlights and tail lights. Nobody can tell what year is my car now. Makes an older car look modern.

Hey, I actually had the same lights installed, and seem to be running into a "headlight beam adjustment fault" error. Was this something you encountered (i'm on a 987.1)? I

I can't imagine what sensor is throwing that off. I used Hikari H7 LED bulbs. Super clear and bright and no code. 9600lm 6k Cool White.
Let us know if the bulbs help if you swap them.

Was it on 987.2 or .1? Any long-term effect from temperature inside a sealed unit?
