Default Spyder in Southampton NY

So I'm thinking of crossing over to the other side and adding a Spyder to my fleet.
Porsche of Southampton has a high spec agate Spyder I am interested in, does anyone know this car ? Can anyone close by have a look ? I don't suspect any real issues as it's a 2200 mile CPO car but I would like to know if there are any scratches, chips, or whatever.
Also, the windshield was replaced a couple years ago, are there any issues with replacement windshields on these cars ?
Thanks.

I had my windshield replaced. Done at the Porsche dealership. No issues. But I would like to know who did the work. There CAN be issues.

I know nothing about that car except it is absolutely stunning and well appointed. And priced right. That color with PCCB's and black wheels is sinister. MSRP about $110K?

The spec on that car is really nice, is the CarFax clean.

If I was closer to Southampton I’d take a look at for you.

Unless something is amiss, you'd better hop on that deal right now since you alerted the world to it! I'm tempted to buy it myself.

Only thing missing is rearview camera.

That's a good price on a nice spec car. Market prices of Spyders have definitely come down. The only thing I don't like on that car are the black wheels. Platinum or silver wheels would look better on Agate IMO, but that's fixable if you wanted a different wheel.

I'd definitely get an overrev report before buying.

If it had 18 ways, heated seats (and corresponding $4,000 price reduction) and a reversing camera, I'd be heading to LI tomorrow. I love the black wheels. But I'd put my GT4 wheels on it instead.

Definitely get an over-rev report (I passed on 3 Spyder before finding mine as a result of this...), but otherwise gorgeous car. They've had it for a couple of months.

My dad (Rennlist user dporto, found most often in the 996 forum) knows the service guys at Porsche of Southhampton and might be able to swing by and take a look for you if you'd like. Let me know if you'd want me to connect you guys.

Thanks Illini,
It would be great if you could do that.

Very different cars - if you want something to use regularly in all conditions, the GTS is the way to go. Spyders are much more special and harder to live with.

Spyders will hold value well - but will still lose slowly and will be bolstered by 987 Spyder values and GTS values.

For the OP - I bought a very similar spec car with 5500 miles and no PCCBs for a couple thousand less than this six weeks ago, so I think the price is excellent. My car is white and there are some minor cosmetic spec differences plus mine has rear view camera. I didn’t want PCCBs, but I would have jumped at this car 6 weeks ago!

Rear camera is extremely useful by the way. Rear viz is poor...

Of course- sent you a PM with his contact information. He knows to expect you to reach out. Good luck with the car!

I had my windshield replaced at the Porsche dealer as well, caught a rock on it that put a pretty bad ding right where the mirror mounts. It happens, can't tell the difference at all. Would not be of any concern to me at all.

I would jump all over this, spec'd beautifully and priced right. I have owned most Porsche GT variants over the years and the Spyder ( and not a GT car) was my absolute favorite, hands down.

I inquired about getting a DME report yesterday and was told a sale was pending.
