Default Spyder on BAT

Gen 1 on BAT.

I’m thinking mid 40s for price; regardless always entertaining to watch and read the peanut gallery comments.

Related, seems like most Porsche sales are always desribed as buyer “stole it” when it appears to me that most are market correct or high.

Is the 6spd manual gearbox rare for this car? I've been looking around and only saw 1 or 2 out there (and they're priced over 60k). I wish this was a manual, but I guess that would also bump it to mid to high 50's..?

Not with that many miles. I think this one, with PDK/normal seats should sell for mid 40s.

Would be a heck of a car for mid-40's. Build sheet on it is $74K. There are a few things I don't love about it, but they are nit-picky items. Someone could get a great deal.

I could be wrong and I'm sure other 987 Spyder owners will chime in, but I seem to recall many dealers at the time ordering their Spyders with PDK thinking that is what would appeal to the vast majority of potential Spyder customers. Not sure why they thought this, but I do believe there are a healthy number of PDK equipped cars out there. I don't recall ever seeing actual production figures for the 987 Spyder showing how many or what percentage were MT vs. PDK, but maybe someone here has those stats. However, I do know on the 981 Spyder that MT cars outnumbered PDK cars by a far margin

PDK is definitely more prevalent and SJ is correct with the comment that dealers were commonly ordering their Spyders with PDK and the Sofa Seats.

Prices for the MT with Buckets does seem to be holding in the low $60's with really nice examples with the right options hitting $70k. They are getting harder to find now, especially in good condition.

It will be interesting to see where this one lands but I agree it will likely be in the mid $40's.

Sold for $47K plus buyer's fees, so roughly $50K. Pretty fair deal IMHO on a $75K spec. Someone needs to snap up that other PDK with carbon seats - complete steal.

I didn't think it'd get that high given the mileage and number of prior owners. Goes to show what I know.

IMHO it was priced correctly, it needs some detailing and trim replaced to make it really nice. But it’s a perfect driver and with Sofa’s and PDK it is in line with what others seem to be selling for.

I agree that the Autokennel car could be a great deal with the LWB’s, hopefully someone is already investigating it.

Question on the sofas - were power seats ever an option? My build sheet has what I consider sofa's - they are titled "Manual Sport Seat (L) and (R)." Curious other than the carbon buckets what the other options were.

IIRC the configurator provided two options, the standard seat was the Lightweight Carbon Buckets and you could option Manual Sport seats at no additional cost.

Got it - then there were also options with heated seats I guess, like this one: https://www.ultimomotors.com/invento...cb2a80bs745412
