Just the leather cowl cover or the whole enchilada?

As I was appreciating this photo of Suicide Jockey's gorgeous leather dash, I realized that I would need a few more leather bits than just the dash and cowl. They are the center cover and the defroster trims. I'll tell the dealer tomorrow to add these parts to my order. Now this is what my parts list looks like:
- 981 552 101 20 A11 - dash
- 981 552 021 00 A11 - cowl
- 981 552 151 01 5Q0 - center cover
- 981 552 375 00 5Q0 - defroster trim (left)
- 981 552 376 00 5Q0 - defroster trim (right)

Here’s another pic of my former Spyder where you can see the stitching better:

n4n4nod, thanks for your insight. My parts may not be part of the "Porsche Exclusive CZW package" but I believe they are leather nevertheless. They are all listed under I981 (Leather equipment) and the defroster trims are described as "Defroster trim leather" in the parts catalog. It seems that the defroster trims are only offered in leather as the plastic dash doesn't require them. The plastic center speaker cover is listed separately (981 552 151 00 5Q0) from the leather one (981 552 151 01 5Q0) and at a considerably lower price ($58.12 vs $92.97).
You taught me well.

Ha! I guess I did... I didn’t look up the part numbers... Just noticed your reference photo with the red interior didn’t have the leather ones and then plugged your part numbers into the sunset parts website and noticed the low price. It must have defaulted to the plastic ones? Out of curiousity how much are the leather ones?

The parts are all here! Now I have to wait until it gets warmer to bring the car in for the installation.
The following is the weight of each part:

I'm going to guess the difference in total weight between full leather vs. standard/rubber is 1.5 lbs. I just have my doubts about leather weighing less, but who knows.
This weight analysis of interior materials brings to mind the claim that Alcantara is 50% lighter than leather such that Lambo saves 11 lbs by using the material in the interior of its cars.

The dash alone was $2.9K list. The whole enchilada was over $3.9K list but I paid $3.3K including tax.

Kidding aside, I like lightweight cars too, which is why I've owned 3 Spyders, a Cayman R, and now a GT4 among others. I appreciate Porsche's extra effort to make some of their cars just a little lighter.
My first Porsche, a 2008 Carrera S, had full leather and I guess it spoiled me. I definitely prefer it. Now years later, 7 of 10 have had full leather. But among my favorite Porsches, My Cayman R w/PCCB didn't, but loved it anyway.

It's a street driven Porsche, not a F1 car lol. Not everything is an exercise in the absolute maximization of performance, whether tangible or intangible. No matter how much weight I could possibly shed from either of my 2 Porsches, including my light-ish GT4, the GT4 will feel like the slow pig it is in comparison to my MV Agusta F4 1000 R. Life is short, I will gladly enjoy all the creature comforts and premium materials Porsche has to offer!!

Biggest weight savings is in the seats, which I've already done.
My comment was because I once read that the leather dashed weighed about 5lbs more than rubber. But based on the comments in this thread, I'm second guessing that.
5lb isn't much, but at the opportunity to cut a little weight, make a little money, and help a fellow Rennlister get a good deal, I would have been willing to make the switch. But now knowing that leather is lighter, I'll gladly keep what I have.
I've stripped other track cars and the total weight savings comes out to less than 150lbs. While that is a lot of weight, that's also losing a lot of sound dampening and creature comforts for when the car is on the road. While we're still flirting near the 3000lb mark, 150lbs doesn't make a huge difference in lap times.

My build is for the track, with occasional street use... Though I agree that weight saving isn't a huge deal. Poop before the track day and you saved weight.
