Default fire extinguisher

would appreciate recommendations for fire extinguisher quick release mounting gear for a 2011 987.2 Boxster Spyder with P77 sport seats, the extinguisher is a 2.5 pound HalGuard model HG250 by H3R performance measuring 14.5 inches length and 9.5 inch diameter. Also suggest your preferences driver seat or passenger seat? many thanks.

If you want to give something else a shot check this out: https://elementfire.com/

I picked one up for the Targa but it’s small and light enough to easily transport between cars if needed. Fits easily into the glove box too.

I have an open door policy. If someone wants to ride in my car, they can put on a helmet and buckle up. So I dislike passenger side mounted fire extinguishers since people often fumble around trying to get in/out.

I prefer driver side. Quick access for me and easy to grab as I'm climbing out of the car. On past cars, I've done seat mounts which hold it under the legs. On my 987, I mounted it to the cage directly behind the driver's seat. Hard to access from within the car, but if there's a fire, I'm climbing out of the car first anyways.
