Default What's it worth

Increased denigration in my neck effecting the strength in my upper arms is making getting in and out of my 987 Spyder more and more difficult so I need to consider selling it and looking for ideas of pricing

2012 Boxster Spyder, 40,000 miles mostly highway no damage, non smoker never tracked

Factory options: Aqua Blue with interior panels painted exterior color, PDK, Sport Chrono, Bose, Nav, A/C. PCCB's
Sport bucket seats (blue leather bolsters and blue Alcantera seating surfaces) Porsche sport exhaust. Extra set of factory Spyder wheels. Paddle shift Steering wheel

Additional options: hidden trailer hitch installed and wired by local Porsche dealer, Sport Chrono clock hidden in dash and aircraft quality oil pressure/ oil temp gauge installed by Porsche dealer in chronological bezel. Suspension upgraded by Porsche dealer to include Bilstein coil overs and GT3 lower control arms

I'm sure I forgot something I forgot

Great googly-moogly. Put that on Bring a Trailer and hope for the best.

If that were a manual I'd have sent you a PM begging you to delete this post and try to buy it myself.

That is a stunning, stunning, stunning car and a crazy good spec. Breaks my heart you have to consider parting with it. Sorry to hear of your health problems.

PCCB’s too, that’s a rare option on the 987!

Sad to see you have to leave the fold but understandable at the same time.

It’s a proper spec in a rare color so it should go quick. I would price in the high $50’s considering the options the car has. Mileage will hurt it some but anyone who’s been paying attention knows these cars are reliable and mileage shouldn’t deter anyone.

Also you might want to list the maintenance done once you post the ad.

What a beauty!
Once you figure out a price, I'd love to know!

GT3 master cylinder by any chance?

F4, really sorry to hear about the neck I know you've had so many great adventures in this car.

5,700 miles/year is low mileage in my book. That mileage on a well maintained car such as yours is nothing and should not scare off anyone, as Afshin said. Good luck! Hope your baby finds a great home.

The master cylinder for the PCCBs is larger than the standard one and I'm not sure if it is the same as the GT3 one but the pedal does not have the soft vague feel of the standard Boxster brakes. It is firm and the brakes do work. Porsche brakes can stop on a dime. PCCBs on a lightweight Spyder only use the front edge of the dime

I don't know of another one with blue / black interior or this heavily optioned and with the goodies such as PCCB's and sport buckets . By the way the oil pressure/ Temp gauge is the real deal not a computer auto thing like the normal PORSCHE gauges. The pressure gauge actually shows the instantaneous pressure changes as the engine changes demand for oil and the temp portion is digital. I will take a picture tomorrow. The gauge and instal totaled over $800 but the peace of mind is worth it .

Do you happen to have a list of the items needed for the instantaneous temperature/pressure? I want to research if there’s an option where I can add the necessary probes and figure out a way to capture the data on my phone.

No as this is a hardwire system with a probe from the oil sump to the gauge and another wire from a sender in the case to the gauge for pressure . You might want to call Ken Gulla at McNally instruments their number is 813-783-3361

Jack,

Great looking Spyder! We chatted few weeks back about Clark AB when I picked up my white one...I’m right around the corner in Comal County.

Pretty close specs to the CPO I picked up, but with rare color and ceramics. I thought mine was well bought with 29k miles at $53.5. Yours should bring more.

Would love to see it in person, beers on me!

Has absolutely nothing to do with the options on the Spyder just a human interest photo of some of the adventures my wife and I have had with this amazing vehicle. This is Montana on our way to the Spokane Parade. By the way, over 27 mpg at 70 with the trailer. Trailer is all Alum and weighs around 250 lbs
