Default My wife "gets" me

So, I make no secret about how much I love and seek to understand every component of my 981C; Panorama regularly appears in the mailbox and our iPad always mysteriously has open windows with Porsche classifieds. I guess you could say I've become an enthusiast.

Nonetheless, I never advertise what kinds of gifts I want (probably a mistake, but makes the whole process feel genuine); and today for my birthday my fabulous wife made me gourmet corn dogs (laugh if you want, I'm from the Midwest) and gave me a "driving kit" including driving gloves, loafers, and a gorgeous black leather moto jacket. My in-laws (well informed by my wife, no doubt) gave me a very cool bookend for all my oversized medical texts -- 1/4 of a genuine Porsche cross-drilled brake rotor!

Nice! Good looking garage too. My wife is very tolerant of my car foibles.. But she does insist on keeping one garage space for her.

Congrats! Very cool.

I would say my wife tolerates me and my car foibles with a smile. She also is an enabler pushing me to build another garage. Nonetheless I can say, with certainty, that she would never buy me a rotor,or even a 1/4 rotor designed to be a bookend. Well...maybe if she thought they were weights for working out she might buy me a set..hmmm....

those do look like excellent gloves, I swear by Fratelli Orsini.
