2018 24 hour Nürburgring
Because I was really bored, I decided to look up the 2018 24 hour Ring winners.
Certain results baffle me.
For instance, how did a base 718 Cayman (completed 120 laps from Teichmann Racing), do more laps than a Cayman S (116) and even some GT4 CS? I believe the best GT4 CS finished 122 laps. The Cayman also finished ahead of some GT3s.
Is the base Cayman very durable?
With respect to longevity/durability both on the track and in daily use, are there not that many differences between the Cayman and the S and the GT4/3 etc?
And why are some Caymans in the Cup3 class yet others are in V5?
How heavily are these cars modded?
Id appreciate it if someone can break this down for me like Im a 5th grader.
Thanks

Well, you cant just look on the laps, in a 24hr race, there is many things that happends, things go ****, spin, crash etc.
Cup3 vs V5 is the difference between aero, tunning etc.
