Congrats. IMHO they’re modern day classics. Even though I’m on the short list for a new Spyder I’m not so sure that I’ll follow through buying it. I’m simply smitten with my ABM Spyder.

2XIPA, I concur completely! When I first starting seriously looking at the Spyder, was convinced that I’d get the 981 version.

Perhaps the 987 community is more vocal, but for me those things that make the Gen 1 unique were more important such as steering feel and the top...oh that top!

We’ll see what the new one brings...free to look!

Since I’ll be keeping my 2016 Z06 w/Z07 M7 “more performance” will not move my meter off the 987. I’ve told some folks that the Porsche is more fun than the Chevy and got some strange looks...but believe folks on here understand.

Happily I knew I’d be ok as soon as I sat in the seat. Now have about 2700 miles in the last 8 days...no issues at all. I’d almost go as far as saying they are refreshing and love the upright seating position.

Of course they are wonderfull looking!

As I recall ... some crazy guy makes seat bolster covers for these GT2 folding seats ..
Just sayin’
best of luck beautiful car

Wow, would definitely look into that. Do you know the company or something googleable? I’ll search the forum...

Thanks

lol I believe the guy who sells them is called "Crazy Neddie" or something similar. Send him a pm and he will set you up. I got some of his bolster covers, they are great and well worth the money.

I find the Spyder much was to AX. I imagine the Corvette is better for the track.

Looks great TX. Keep posting the pics. Missing the Spyder in the PNW but glad it went to a good home. Enjoy in good health.
Cheers
