will this decal look stupid on my boxster?

It's a few bucks sticker. Buy it, put it on, and if you do not like it, remove it.
Personally I do not like it at all but, considering the effort, worth trying it if you have this desire.

If the sticker is a square piece of white vinyl-like material with the black image and lettering printed on it, then you can bet that even if the white matches your paint perfectly at first, over time the paint and the sticker will age at different rates. Additionally, the adhesive at the edges of the sticker will catch dirt and grime, creating a black square of grime around the sticker. At that point, it will look like, well, a vinyl sticker stuck on a really nice car. Then, when you remove it, there's the possibility that there will be a square of differently aged paint where the sticker was. That said, and as has been stated above, it's your car, your sticker, and you're the only one you have to please.

looks wrong and it is incomplete, Stuttgart city logo includes more than the horse, you can check it out online and if Porsche thought it looked good they would have put it on the car at the factory or offered it as an option

If you have to ask you already know the answer.
In my opinion it looks stupid on my computer's screen. But that is just my opinion. And we know what opinions are like.

Take the 918 Spyder emblem, below, offered through Suncoast for $75, and rearrange the numbers to read 981 (each number is separate) and space the numbers out to cover the desired area. Or, keep the numbers close together. Whatever you think looks best to you.
On a white car, chrome with acid green accents would certainly be eye-catching and hardly bland. Of course, in the Porsche world acid green signifies hybrid, but it seems like you march to the beat of your own drummer and would hardly let that stop you.
Just a thought! Good luck.

In your 20's, you think: "What do other people think about me?"
In your 40's, you think: "I don't give a $#!t what other people think about me!!!"
In your 60's, you think: "Nobody was even thinking about me in the first place."
As for the OP, my vote is "Don't do it." [Keep in mind this is from a guy with a window sticker on his 2014 Cayenne Turbo S that reads "Don't laugh, it's paid for!"]
